Members of the Barton College Community, Barton College has been monitoring the weather, and it seems likely that there will be some snow and slick roads in the area by sunrise tomorrow, Thursday, January 28, 2021. Given that likelihood, Barton wants to ensure both the safety of its students, staff, and faculty, and the continuation of its operations. Therefore, the College will shift to remote instruction and remote work until 12:30 p.m. tomorrow afternoon. However, essential staff should report to campus at their regular time, and essential services, including food service in the Culinary Center, will continue during the remote instruction and work periods in the morning. Barton Announces President’s and Dean’s Lists for the Fall 2020 Semester

WILSON, N.C. —January 13, 2021 — Barton College named 59 students to the President’s List and 383 students to the Dean’s List for fall semester 2020. President’s List students compiled a perfect 4.0 grade point average; Dean’s List students achieved a grade point average of 3.3 or better on a four-point scale. Silverpoint Works Will Be The Focus Of The Barton Art Galleries’ Upcoming Exhibition

WILSON, N.C. — January 4, 2021 — Silverpoint drawings will be the focus of an extraordinary exhibition of works opening this January in the Barton Art Galleries on the campus of Barton College. This exhibition will be a combination of a selection of work from the Paula Patterson Collection at Barton College and silverpoint works by the Raleigh based artist Angela Lombardi.
