WILSON, N.C. — May 5, 2015 — Barton College was well represented at the 61st annual North Carolina Phi Beta Lambda State Leadership Conference held April 9-11 in Charlotte.  Three Barton chapter members participated in a variety of competitive events and attended general sessions, regional meetings, and leadership seminars. Approximately 250 delegates, representing 26 chapters, attended the annual conference.  First-place, second-place, and third-place winners at the state conference earned the right to compete at the National Leadership Conference to be held in Chicago, IL, in June. WILSON, N.C. — Barton College’s Phi Beta Lambda students secured their share of awards at the 2012 “Gateway to Greatness” Phi Beta Lambda National Leadership Conference recently held in San Antonio, Texas. Eight Barton students joined over 1,800 college business students and advisers from around the world to attend the national conference and participate in the Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda (FBLA-PBL) Institute for Leaders. George Black, a senior from Winterville, represented North Carolina as its Who’s Who nominee. Wilson, N.C. — Barton College Phi Beta Lambda students were recognized with top honors at the recent 2011 Phi Beta Lambda National Leadership Conference held in Anaheim, Calif. Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda (FBLA-PBL), the largest and oldest student business organization, hosted over 1800 college business students and advisers from around the country and the world for its annual conference and the FBLA-PBL Institute for Leaders. WILSON, N.C. – Barton College was well represented at the 55th Annual North Carolina Phi Beta Lambda State Leadership Conference held last weekend in Charlotte.  Members of Barton College’s Gamma Gamma Chapter of Phi Beta Lambda provided regional leadership while also receiving numerous kudos at the conference. Wilson, N.C. – Barton College’s Dawn Montoya, a junior from Wilson, was elected State President at the North Carolina Phi Beta Lambda 54th Annual State Leadership Conference held last weekend in Raleigh. Paola Marte, a junior from the Dominican Republic, received first-place honors in Financial Analysis and Decision Making, and the chapter’s Local Chapter Annual Business Report also garnered first place honors for the Barton delegation.
