WILSON, N.C – September 27, 2022 — Barton College athletics and our 24 varsity sports will unite for the inaugural Clash of the Bulldogs gobulldogs.barton.edu held Wednesday, September 28, through Wednesday, October 5. In the spirit of competition, each team will raise support for a chosen initiative during the week of giving that will directly benefit the team this year.
“Your gift during the Clash of the Bulldogs will allow our teams to fulfill the ever-changing needs of Barton Athletics by providing resources and opportunities for our student-athletes to achieve their goals as leaders in the classroom, in their sport, and in our community,” said Director of Athletics Todd Wilkinson. “Together, we are one team, one family achieving one goal.”
Gifts of all sizes make a meaningful difference in the lives of our more than 690 student-athletes. The Clash of the Bulldogs is focused on participation from our community of Barton College Athletics friends and families. This week of giving will celebrate the traditions of the past, present, and future Atlantic Christian College/Barton Athletics community.
Financial support is pivotal to ensure successful and competitive futures for our current and prospective Bulldog student-athletes.
In a spirited competition during the giving week, Barton Athletics will track a Clash of the Bulldogs leaderboard based on each team. The leaderboard will be one of the various giving challenges to track each team’s progress through the week of giving including team, weeklong, and social media challenges using #OneBarton. Additional challenges will be announced throughout the week.
