WILSON, N.C. — September 24, 2020 — Theatre at Barton is pleased to host the 2020 Senior Showcase scheduled for Friday, Oct. 2, at 7:30 p.m. A variety of highlight performances will be presented by the 2020 Barton Theatre graduates on the outdoor stage in front of the Kennedy Family Theatre on the Barton campus. Performances will include —
“Savannah Smiles” by Savannah Wall,
“Hidden Beneath the Surface” with Synthandria L. Stockwell, 
The Last Five Years” featuring Jamie Allen (with Zachery Rayburn ’16), and
“Prince Not Included” with Ashley Keefe.
Unfortunately, 2020 graduate Jenna Sutton will not be available to perform her showcase at this time.
Admission will be donation-based to support Theatre at Barton, and seating will be limited. All those attending must wear face coverings and observe social distancing protocols.
“Our most recent theatre alumni did not have the opportunity to present their senior programs to a live audience this past spring prior to graduation, so we are offering this staged event to recognize and celebrate the talent and hard work of these recent Barton Theatre program graduates,” shared Sherry Lee Allen, director of Theatre at Barton. “The Performing Arts industry is finding new and innovative ways to continue creating entertainment,” continued Allen. “Help us welcome these new faces to the professional stage.
