“Early in the process, I questioned myself about the decision I had made to take on the RN to BSN program at Barton while taking care of my three children as a widow and working 12-hour shifts at the hospital. My ‘Aha!’ moment was when I realized, little by little, I was able to complete my assignments, and I had completed a semester before I knew it. Barton provided me with an opportunity to work with a compassionate faculty that assisted and mentored me in completing my Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. As I completed my degree, I had the opportunity to begin working as a travel nurse, which I have found to be incredibly fulfilling. I encourage anyone to choose Barton College to further their education, because this is a college that motivates and mentors students to reach their academic goals.”
