Barton Presents the BB&T Heritage Lecture in American History on Oct. 19

Wilson, N.C. – Barton College is pleased to welcome renowned historian Dr. Sally G. McMillen, Mary Reynolds Babcock Professor of History at Davidson College, as the featured speaker for the upcoming BB&T Heritage Lecture in American History scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 19.  Dr. McMillen’s lecture will focus on “Seneca Falls and the Nineteenth Century Women’s Rights Movement.” Scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Sam and Marjorie Ragan Writing Center, this program is open to the public free of charge, and the community is invited to attend.  This lectureship is endowed by BB&T, and the evening’s sponsors include the Department of History and Social Sciences at Barton College and […]
