WILSON, N.C. – As part of annual Constitution Day celebrations at Barton, the College will host a talk by Dr. Troy Kickler, author of “The King’s Trouble Makers: Edenton’s Role in Creating a Nation and State.” The program and reception will be held in the Willis N. Hackney Library on Wednesday, Sept. 17, from 5:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. Refreshments will be provided. Hackney Library’s 2014 Open House Celebrates Best-Selling N.C. Author Wiley Cash on Sept. 9

WILSON, N.C. – Willis N. Hackney Library, on the campus of Barton College, will host its ninth annual Open House on Tuesday, Sept. 9, from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. Students, along with faculty, staff, and other interested guests, are invited to see what is new and improved inside the library for the 2014-2015 academic year. A book signing featuring Wiley Cash, acclaimed writer and author of the best-selling “A Land More Kind Than Home,” will take place between 5 p.m. – 6 p.m. Cash’s novel was chosen as Barton’s 2014 FYS summer reader. Hackney Library’s 2013 Open House Scheduled for Thursday, August 22

WILSON, N.C. — Willis N. Hackney Library, on the campus of Barton College, will host its eighth annual Open House on Thursday, August 22, from 4-6 p.m. to welcome new and returning students, as well as faculty, staff, and friends of the College to view the most recent updates for the library and the recently relocated Office of Student Success. WILSON, N.C. — Willis N. Hackney Library begins its Celebration of Academic Achievement Series with an inaugural reception this Thursday, April 26, from 3-5 p.m. on the Barton College campus. This event will highlight the library’s new art display space, a recent library collection acquisition, and the arrival of the College’s new director of the library, George W.
