Good News for Barton College Comes in Threes

WILSON, N.C. — Good news for Barton College comes in threes this fall semester. Barton was again named among the 2014 Best Colleges in the Southeast by “The Princeton Review” and listed in the top tier of “U.S. News & World Report’s” 2014 Best Regional Colleges in the South. The third distinction celebrates the accomplishments of the Barton College School of Nursing’s 2013 Class. This past May’s graduating class passed the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) with ninety-five percent of its graduates successfully completing the NCLEX on their first attempt and the remaining graduate passing the exam on her second attempt this summer. WILSON, N.C. — Barton College’s School of Nursing has learned that 19 out of 19 graduates (May 2012) taking the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) passed with flying colors. This follows another stellar report of 100% NCLEX pass rate for the Barton College School of Nursing Class of 2011 last year.
