The event will begin with a reception at 6:30 p.m., followed by the concert at 7 p.m. in Wilson Gymnasium on the Barton campus. Barton College/Wilson Symphony Presents the “Downtown” Concert for the Wilson Community on Friday, Oct. 5
WILSON, N.C. — The Barton College/Wilson Symphony Orchestra will present their first concert of the 2012-2013 season on Friday, Oct. 5, at 7:30 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church located at 100 Green Street in Wilson. Open to the public at no charge, the “Downtown” Concert will feature baritone Joel Gay, the associate music director of the First United Methodist Church, singing arias and songs by Mozart, Bach, and Schubert.
