Reception for 2023 Senior Exhibition at Barton College on April 27

WILSON, N.C. — April 12, 2023 — Barton College is pleased to announce the opening of the 2023 Senior
Exhibition on Thursday, April 27, with an evening reception to be held from 5-7 p.m. in the Barton Art Galleries in
Case Art Building on the campus of the College. This event is open to the public at no charge and the community is invited to attend.

Eleven seniors within the School of Visual, Performing, and Communications Arts will have their works or
representations of their work on view in the Barton Art Galleries through May 13. Those seniors representing the
Mass Communications and Visual Arts programs include:

Seniors in the Mass Communications Program —

Justin Trent of New Bern plans to graduate in May with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications
with a concentration in Journalism.
Dorez Wynn of Garner plans to graduate in May with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications with
a concentration in Broadcasting and Video Production.

Seniors in the Theatre Program —

Luke Eason of Nashville plans to graduate in May with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and in Theatre
with a concentration in Performance.
Morgan Tripp of New Bern plans to graduate in May with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre with a
concentration in Performance.

Seniors in the Visual Arts Program —

Sarah Aldridge of Oak Island plans to graduate in May with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Art & Design
with an emphasis in Ceramics.
Madeline Brown of Oak Island plans to graduate in May with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Art & Design
with an emphasis in Graphic Design.
Nickie Carroll of Bunn plans to graduate in May with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Art & Design with an
emphasis in Photography.
Ian D’Meza, Jr., of Durham plans to graduate in May with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Visual
Communications.
Skye Jeffries of Greensboro plans to graduate in May with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Studio Art.
Kelly McCue of Knightdale plans to graduate in May with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Art & Design with
an emphasis in Graphic Design and Photography, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Studio Art.
Ariel O’Quinn of Clayton plans to graduate in May with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Art & Design with
an emphasis in Graphic Design.
Brianna Turner of Roanoke Rapids plans to graduate in May with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Studio Art.

The Barton Art Galleries, located inside Case Art Building on the campus of Barton College, is open Monday-
Thursday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., and Friday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., or by appointment.
