Dr. Jim Clark Moderates Poetry Workshop

WILSON, NC – The Eastern North Carolina Literary Homecoming and the North Carolina Poetry Society (NCPS) present “The Voice of Nature” poetry-writing workshop moderated by Dr. Jim Clark, chair of the Department of English and Modern Languages and Elizabeth H. Jordan Chair of Southern Literature at Barton College.  The workshop will be held on October 15, 2011, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in The Sam and Marjorie Ragan Writing Center on the Barton College campus.

The event is free, but attendance is limited to 15 participants.  Participation in the event includes a critique of each participants’ single one-page poem (preferably nature themed).  In addition, brown-bag lunches and beverages will be provided.  Poems and registrations are due by October 10, 2011, and should be sent to:
