WILSON, N.C. — September 19, 2022 — Barton College has been recognized for a second consecutive year as the highest ranked North Carolina school in the 2023 U.S. News & World Report’s listing of “Best Value” Schools Among Regional Colleges in the South, with its #8 ranking in this category.
Barton also ranked #7 among U.S. News & World Report’s 2023 top performers on “Social Mobility” among Regional Colleges in the South.
Barton College continues to hold a distinctive position at #14 in the 2023 U.S. News & World Report’s overall rankings of the Best Regional Colleges in the South, tied with Belmont Abbey.
And, recognized for its ethnic diversity on campus, Barton is also included on the 2023 U.S. News & World Report’s Campus Ethnic Diversity List for Regional Colleges in the South.
Barton College was also named as one of 143 colleges listed in The Princeton Review’s 2023 list of “Best in the Southeast” Among Regional Colleges. Princeton Review does not rank by number.
