Barton’s Celebration of Girls and Women in Sports Day on February 7 to Feature N.C. High School Athletic Association Commissioner Que Tucker

WILSON, N.C. — January 28, 2019 — Barton College is pleased to host its Ninth Annual Celebration of Girls and Women in Sports Day on Thursday, Feb. 7. The event will feature keynote speaker Que Tucker, Commissioner of the North Carolina High School Athletic Association, as well as remarks by Caroline and Kathryn Adkins, Jackie Williford Copeland, Janae Cunningham, Amy Jones, and Annie Wilson. The event will begin at 11 a.m. in Hardy Alumni Hall and conclude by Noon. There is no charge for the event, and the community is invited to attend. Jersey Mike’s Teams Up With Barton’s Student Philanthropy Society

WILSON, N.C. — January 28, 2019 — Jersey Mike’s of Wilson and Barton College’s Student Philanthropy Society (SPS) partnered on a coupon promotion running January 15-17. The project concluded with Jersey Mike’s making a donation of $2,171 to Barton College’s Annual Fund.
