Winter Weather Advisory 1

Members of the Barton College community,
As a result of the Winter Advisory for Wilson County, Barton College will cancel all classes, team practices, meetings, and campus activities beginning at 3 p.m. Thursday, February 20, through 10 a.m. on Friday, February 21.
Campus offices will also close at 3 p.m. today.
Theatre at Barton’s “The Miracle Worker” performance for tonight will be canceled. All those planning to attend tonight’s performance are invited to attend on Friday evening instead.
For Friday, February 21, Barton College will delay its opening for classes and offices until 10 a.m. Barton will continue to monitor conditions.
For residential students, the Culinary Center will be open for regular operating hours until 8 p.m. tonight, but Blue’s Late Night will be canceled for tonight.
Breakfast on Friday will be served during regular operating hours.
*Please continue to monitor the Barton College web site at www.barton.edu, email, and the inclement weather phone message lines (students: 399-6868 and faculty/staff: 399-6600) for updates regarding the College’s operating schedule.
**Road conditions may vary from town to town. Please use caution and good judgment as you travel today and tomorrow.
***Please notify your supervisor or professor if your travel conditions prevent you from following the College’s delayed schedule on Friday.
