2021 Senior Exhibition Will Open With Reception On April 22

WILSON, N.C. – March 30, 2021 —Barton College is pleased to announce the opening of the 2021 Senior Exhibition on Thursday, April 22, with an evening reception to be held from 6-8 p.m. in the Barton Art Galleries in Case Art Building on the campus of the College.

Sixteen seniors within the School of Visual, Performing, and Communications Arts will have their works or representations of their work on view in the Barton Art Galleries through May 8. Those seniors representing the Mass Communications, and Visual Arts programs include —

Mass Communications Program — 

Kenyon “KJ” Askew, Jr., of Colerain plans to graduate in May with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications with a concentration in Journalism.

Shannon Baker of Wilson plans to graduate in May with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications with a concentration in Journalism.

Callie Burnette of Greentown, Ind., plans to graduate in May with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Arts and Media.

Mackenzie Bryce Camp of Sneads Ferry plans to graduate in May with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications with a concentration in Audio Recording Technology and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.

Claudia Capellades Escolano of Barcelona, Spain, plans to graduate in May with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication Studies. 

Cameron Greer-Martin of Greenville, S.C., plans to graduate in May with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications with a concentration in Audio Recording Technology.

Debbie M. Herrera of Los Angeles, Calif., plans to graduate in May with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications with a concentration in Photojournalism, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication Studies, and a minor in Psychology.

Nicholas Leek of Clayton plans to graduate in May with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications with a concentration in Audio Recording Technology.

Jonathan Moss of Mechanicsville, Va., plans to graduate in May with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications with a concentration in Photojournalism.

Octavius Trey Scoggins of Louisburg plans to graduate in May with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications with a concentration in Broadcast/Video Production, and a minor in Theatre.

Visual Arts Program — 

Jaksa Gabric of Zagreb, Croatia, plans to graduate in May with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Art & Design with a concentration in Graphic Design.

The Barton Art Galleries, located inside Case Art Building on the campus of Barton College, is open Monday­-Thursday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., and Friday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., or by appointment.
