2017 Senior Exhibition Opens in Barton Art Galleries on April 29

WILSON, N.C. – April 24, 2017 — Barton College is pleased to announce the opening of the 2017 Senior Exhibition on Saturday, April 29, with an evening reception to be held from 6-8 p.m. in the Barton Art Galleries in Case Art Building on the campus of Barton College. The community is invited to attend.

Twenty-one seniors within the School of Visual, Performing, and Communications Arts will have their works or representations of their work on view in the Barton Art Galleries through May 13. Those seniors representing the Theatre, Mass Communications, and Visual Arts programs include —

Theatre —

Kelsie Barnes of Wilson plans to graduate in May with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre with a concentration in Theatre Design.

Mass Communications —

Taylor Baker of Sims plans to graduate in August with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications with a double concentration in Journalism and Broadcast/Video Production.

Lorraine Chon-Qui of Guayaquil, Ecuador, plans to graduate in May with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications with a concentration in Public Relations, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management.

Josh Farrar of Pinetops plans to graduate in May with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications with a concentration in Audio Recording Technology.

Adrian McKennon Griffin of Shalimar, Fla., plans to graduate in May with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications with a double concentration in Journalism and Broadcast/Video Production.

Jayvona McDaniel of New Haven, Conn., plans to graduate in August with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications with a concentration in Public Relations.

Jessica Nicole Pate of Lucama plans to graduate in August with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications with a concentration in Journalism.
