Get to know other incoming students, meet with your advisor, get your placement tests out of the way, and register for classes – all before classes even start. Our two-day Summer Orientation eliminates the stress that comes with getting settled and starting classes in the fall. This way, you can have everything in place when you move in. While you’re here, you can also:
- Take care of your account with the Office of Business Affairs.
- Get your student ID.
- Select a meal plan.
- Submit your health history.
- Choose your medical insurance.
- Set up your e-mail account and get your post office box.
Summer Orientation also includes a program during which parents can meet with personnel from Student Affairs, Financial Aid, and the Business Office. It’s also the perfect time for parents to talk with their student’s faculty advisor.
Students stay in the residence halls. Parents are also invited to stay on campus in East Campus Suites, our newest residential facility, or they can choose to stay at one of the local hotels.
