A Message from the Alumni Board President
Dear Barton/Atlantic Christian Alumni and Friends:
Greetings from your Alumni Board and welcome to the Alumni website. This Board represents the Alumni Association and shares a mutual vision with the Board of Trustees and the college administration. Our forty plus members work very hard to serve our alma mater and our pride in Barton College is evident in numerous ways.
Through its committees the Alumni Board is involved in helping to develop programs for alumni, promote annual giving, support the recruitment and admission of the best students, engage faculty, staff, and students in the alumni community --- and much more. We strive to make our excitement and enthusiasm crystal clear as we make our voices heard here at Barton College.
All alumni are members of the Barton community and one of the unspoken, but understood goals of the Alumni Board is to encourage alumni to be active and engaged members of that community. There are many ways to be involved with the college, from attending cultural and/or athletic events to participating in international tours sponsored by the college to becoming active in a student mentorship program.
I encourage all alumni to keep in touch --- reconnect with this magical place. Recall those wonderful memories from your college days and recognize that you still have a place here at Barton. Won’t you join us as we strive to create an even greater college!
