Dr. Barbara Walsh is passionate about community/public health nursing. She has held a variety of positions from a maternal child health home visitation nurse to a health district immunization coordinator to acting perinatal consultant for the Commonwealth of Virginia. Her interest is in the multiple factors affecting infant mortality including male reproductive health and preconception care.
Her outside interests include working with foster dogs to overcome behavior issues and volunteering with Operation Catnip.
