The Holloway House is located at 107 Atlantic Christian College Drive and offers themed housing for junior and senior women. This beautiful home was gifted to the College by professor and archivist Dr. Edward B. Holloway. The residence houses four to five students who are a seeking more independent housing experience. The house contains a full kitchen, four fully furnished bedrooms, three bathrooms, a private driveway, and a security system. Housing selection for the Holloway House is completed each spring in partnership with the current residents of the house and the Barton College Housing and Residence Life Office.
La Drau Apartments
Constructed in 1980 and gifted to Barton College by Ms. Edna Earle Boykin, the La Drau Apartments are located on the 900 block of Kenan Street just two blocks away from campus. There are six apartments total, which can house three juniors or seniors each. The apartments are quite spacious, come fully furnished, and even have a small, back patio area. Each apartment has a living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry room, two bedrooms, and two bathrooms. The College also offers a pet option at the La Drau Apartments for students who are interested in living with a small dog or cat. All utilities and maintenance are covered in the housing fee paid to the college.View Floor Plan
The Honors Program community for upperclassmen is located at 804 Woodard Street in the six Woodard Apartments. Juniors and seniors who are enrolled in Barton’s Honors Program are eligible to live in the two-bedroom, fully furnished apartments. The apartments have been newly renovated and feature brand new heating and cooling systems, stainless steel appliances, full kitchens, and private parking for residents. The backyard is spacious and offers a community space. All utilities and maintenance are covered in the housing fee paid to the college.View Floor Plan
