Student Government Association

The Student Government Association (SGA) of the College provides each student with an opportunity for expression regarding issues. The Student Government Association also provides a setting for learning the operations of democracy. The officers of the Student Government Association are elected by the members of the student body.  The President of the Student Government Association serves as an ex-officio member of the College Board of Trustees.

Freshmen Class Council

The Freshmen Class Council is subordinate to the Executive Board. The Council is comprised of one representative from each of the First-Year Seminar (FYS) classes. Nominations for the Council will be submitted to FYS instructors during the first week of the fall semester. At the conclusion of the first week of classes, each FYS class will elect their representative to the Council. All Freshman Class Council members will be automatically nominated for Freshman Class Representative. The Freshmen Class Representative will be elected by a vote of the entire student body and will be the Chair of the Freshman Class Council.
