Freshman Scholarships

Each year Barton recognizes the scholarly preparation of entering freshmen by awarding scholarships and grants based on academic performance. These awards reflect our commitment to helping students set ambitious goals and achieve them.

Honors Trustee Scholarship

The Honors Trustee Scholarship is award to qualified students through our invitation-only scholarship competition. The eligibility requirements are:

  • Award: $10,000 per year
  • Students must attend an on-campus scholarship competition to be considered for one of these awards.
  • Required Test Scores: 1100 SAT (minimum Critical Reading score: 520) or 24 ACT (minimum English score: 22)
  • Required GPA for renewal: 3.25

Trustee Scholarship

The Trustee Scholarship recognizes our most excellent all-around students. Since 2009, the Bridgestone Americas Trust Fund has provided one of the many trustee scholarships awarded each academic year. To be eligible, you must:

  • Award: $10,000.00 per year
  • Required Test Scores: 1100 SAT (combined critical reading and math scores) or 24 ACT composite score
  • Required GPA for renewal: 3.25

Presidential Scholarship

The Presidential Scholarship

  • Award: $6,500.00 per year
  • Required GPA: 3.0
  • Required Test Scores: 1050 SAT (combined critical reading and math scores) or 22 ACT composite score
  • Required GPA for renewal: 3.00

Barton W. Stone Scholarship

The Barton W. Stone Scholarship

  • Award: $5,000.00 per year
  • Required GPA: 2.7
  • Required Test Scores: 950 SAT (combined critical reading and math scores) or 20 ACT composite score
  • Required GPA for renewal: 2.7

John J. Harper Scholarship

The John J. Harper Scholarship

  • Award: $3,000.00 per year
  • Required GPA: 2.5
  • Required Test Scores: 850 SAT (combined critical reading and math scores) or 17 ACT composite score
  • Required GPA for renewal: 2.5
