Barton Esports is a coed collegiate esports team competing in over 15 different game titles in the Eastern College Athletic Conference and other organizations.

Meet your Esports Coach
Dr. Paul Christianson currently serves as the Head Esports Coach at Barton College. Coach Christianson carries substantial knowledge on the competitive esports industry and is a past winner of the D&S Beverages Madden Bowl and multiple local Halo tournaments.
Aside from his duties as Head Coach of the esports team, Coach Christianson currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Sport Management at Barton College and carries advanced coaching certifications from the American Sport Education Program, Australian Sports Commission, IMG Academy, and Titleist Performance Institute.

Admissions Requirements
- Students are expected to maintain good academic standing and maintain Barton College’s 2.0 and above GPA required to participate in school-sanctioned activities.

Scholarship Opportunities

- Team members have the opportunity to become team managers and/or captains via our federal work-study program.
- 4-year scholarships are available for incoming students to compete on our esports team.
