Overview

The ArtWorks Pathway at Barton offers students a dynamic, four-year journey exploring art in various venues and professional contexts. Through field trips, pop-up exhibits, and collaborations with local art councils, students engage deeply with the art community. They gain hands-on experience in curating, entrepreneurship, grant writing, and the business of art. Opportunities include visits to studios, galleries, and museums, as well as major collaborative projects, events and community exhibitions. ArtWorks fosters connections, creativity, and sustainability in the arts, preparing students for successful careers as working artists.
