Principal Licensure Program

The licensure – only program is for students who currently hold a master’s degree in education and are seeking the School Administration license added to their M level teaching license. The program may be completed in one year. Candidates must complete five courses and an internship as described below. Candidates are required to complete six evidences that meet the state standards and submit them into Live Text.

Program Details

Criteria For Admission

  • A master’s degree in education from a regionally accredited college or university
  • A minimum of three years of teaching or other professional education experience
  • A current North Carolina Educator’s License

Admission Requirements

  • Apply as a non-degree graduate student
  • Attach a written statement of interest
  • A recommendation from current supervisor

MSA Licensure-Only Curriculum
