Dr. Stacey Robinson joined Barton College in 2021. She has 17 years of teaching experience in public education as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, and teacher mentor. She has extensive experience in curriculum development, aligning math instruction at the district level, mentoring beginning teachers, and researching academic/behavioral interventions for multi-tiered systems of support. She was the Beginning Teacher of the Year in both 2010 and 2011. She earned Teacher of the Year in 2013 and 2017, and she was awarded Model Educator in 2018. She is also a National Board Certified Teacher and earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education at East Carolina University, her master’s degree in Reading Education from East Carolina University, and her doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction from Gardner-Webb University.
