Sheri A. Browning, Ph.D.

Dr. Sheri Browning received her Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. Her doctoral work focused on the behavioral and vocal responses of Carolina chickadees and tufted titmice in the presence of predators and novel stimuli. She has also conducted research on the vocal behavior of a little-studied bird species, the Northern Wheatear, at Lundy Island in England.

Dr. Browning became a faculty member at Barton College in 2019. Some of Dr. Browning’s favorite classes to teach include Animal Behavior, Evolutionary Psychology, and Cognitive Psychology.
