Roberta Draughn

Roberta Draughn is a dynamic and detail-oriented higher education professional with extensive experience in academic support, student retention, and collegiate athletics. She currently serves as the Director of Academic Support, Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach, BulldogsTHRIVE Pathway Leader and member of the Behavioral Intervention Team at Barton College. She helps to lead campus-wide initiatives to promote student achievement, engagement, and resilience. Roberta is pursuing a Doctor of Strategic Leadership at Liberty University and holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Strategic Leadership and a Middle Grades Licensure in English from Barton College, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Literature, Language, and Communication from Elizabeth City State University. With a proven ability to plan and coordinate diverse events and projects, she is highly skilled in developing and implementing effective academic plans while managing multiple responsibilities. Roberta is especially known for building strong student relationships and executing strategies that foster academic success, persistence, and personal growth among underrepresented and first-generation college students.
