FOR STUDENTS

COVID-19 INQUIRIES AND THE MAGNUS HEALTH APP

To contact the Student Health Center with COVID-related questions or if you need to report COVID-19 symptoms, please call 252-668-0858. This phone number is monitored from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. (Please also continue to review the reminder information listed on this page regarding COVID-19 symptoms and prevention measures.)

For the 2020-2021 academic year, Barton College will use Magnus Health to assist students in completing a COVID-19 self-screening assessment each morning prior to participating in campus activities. The Magnus Mobile app allows students to complete this easily from a smartphone in just a few clicks. This screening process will help the College to maintain a safe environment for our campus community by avoiding screenings at the door where person-to-person transmissions could take place. (Students have received an email to guide them with installation of this app.)

At the completion of the quick survey each morning, students will receive a message for their attendance instruction for that day. The app will indicate whether the student is cleared to go to classes, or whether the student needs to check in with the Student Health Center first.

Questions? For any technical issues with the mobile app such as login problems, or problems completing the screening, please contact customer support at Magnus Health SMR by phone at 877-461-6831 or by email at service@magnushealthportal.com. Also, please feel free to consult the Magnus Health Privacy and Security page at www.magnushealth.com/privacy-and-security/.

We are pleased to provide this resource, which can help students monitor their health.
