Dr. Murali Ranganathan’s research background is in non-commutative ring theory. His current interest is in engaging students to do mathematics using “inquiry-based learning.” Besides the general education and calculus courses, he teaches geometry, number theory, and other upper level electives.
A winner of the 1998 Jefferson-Pilot Faculty Member of the Year Award, Ranganathan has served at Barton College since 1991.
