Members of the Barton College community,
Given that some road conditions are likely to worsen / freeze overnight, and a chance of a wintry mix tomorrow, Barton College will operate remotely on Wednesday, February 4, 2026. All classes will be conducted via virtual instruction, and campus offices will be closed.
Students should continue to monitor their Barton College email and Canvas for guidance from their professors regarding virtual class meetings and coursework. Faculty and staff should remain in communication with their supervisors to coordinate priorities and share updates as needed.
We recognize that winter conditions may affect power, internet access, or individual circumstances. If these conditions impact your ability to participate fully, please notify your professor or supervisor as soon as possible.
Please use good judgment and exercise caution if you are traveling during this time.
