The Glory of Greece

Included in the cost are airfare and airport transfers, hotels, tour guides and travel in Greece through WarmPenguin Private Tours, daily hot breakfasts, two group dinners and two group lunches, site admissions, and travel insurance.

We will begin in Athens with trips to the Acropolis to see the Parthenon and other temples, the Agora, and the major museums. From Athens, we will travel to Mycenae, home of the Greeks of the Trojan War era; and on to Olympia, home of the games; and to Delphi, site of the Oracle. We will also visit an ancient amphitheater, medieval monasteries, an olive grove, and several picturesque towns.

Students, you must sign up for HIS 003 - Greece during the spring semester.

England 2020

Included in the cost are airfare and airport transfers; hotel in London; transportation for day trips to Stratford-upon-Avon, Avebury, and Stonehenge; daily hot breakfast and a group lunch and dinner; site admissions; theater ticket; Oyster Card; and travel insurance.

We will spend five days in London visiting the Tower, the Globe Theater, St. Paul’s Cathedral, the Changing of the Guard ceremony at Buckingham Palace, the Museum of London, the British Museum, and Victoria and Albert Museum. You will attend your choice of West End theaters and will have time on your own to visit places of interest like the Imperial War Museum, Churchill’s War Rooms, Westminster Abbey, the National Gallery, and the Florence Nightingale Museum. We will take a day trip to Stratford-upon-Avon and visit Shakespeare’s birthplace and tour the Royal Shakespeare Company Theater. Another day trip will take us to Stonehenge and the even older site of Avebury.

Students, must sign up for HIS 003 England during the spring semester. .
