Total cost includes round trip airfare from RDU, hotels, tour guides and travel director, travel between cities, daily hot and cold breakfasts, welcome reception, three additional dinners and one lunch while in Ireland, admission to specified cites, and trip insurance.
Take a tour through the Emerald Isle to experience the history, land, cities, and culture. We’ll travel from Dublin to Galway to Limerick to Killarney to Youghal to Waterford to New Ross and back to Dublin; see the Book of Kells, Irish musicians and dancers, the Ring of Kerry, and the Cliffs of Moher, and Waterford Crystal craftsmen; visit Bunratty Castle and climb to the top of Blarney Castle, before finishing with dinner at a local farmhouse. There are museums, pubs, beautiful scenery, and many other things to see and do throughout the trip.
Students, you must sign up for HIS 003 Ireland. The course will meet one afternoon or evening per week January through April so you can learn about Ireland, prepare for the trip, and create a presentation about it after returning.
