2017 Pup’s Steakhouse Celebration of Girls and Women in Sports Day to be held on February 2

WILSON, N.C. — January 26, 2017 — Barton College’s 2017 Pup’s Steakhouse Celebration of Girls and Women in Sports Day will be held on Thursday, Feb. 2, in Hardy Alumni Hall on campus. Featured speakers will be Kamryn and Sydney Graybeal, Phyllis Parish Howard, Caroline Searcy, Brianna Thomas, and Sydney Turner. The program will begin at 11 a.m., and the public is invited to attend. There is no charge for the event. Twin sisters Kamryn and Sydney Graybeal, presenting in tandem at the program, are fourth-grade students at Rock Ridge Elementary School. WRAL’s Phyllis Parish Howard: Featured Speaker at Barton’s 109th Opening Convocation

WILSON, N.C. – Barton College is pleased to announce Phyllis R. Parish Howard, as the featured speaker for the 109th Opening Convocation.  The annual campus event is scheduled for Tuesday, August 31, at 11 a.m. in Howard Chapel. Parish Howard is Director of Local Production for WRAL-TV, a CBS affiliate and division of Capitol Broadcasting Company, Inc. in Raleigh.
