Photography Exhibitions Open Sunday at the Barton Art Galleries

WILSON, N.C. — Barton Art Galleries is pleased to announce the opening of two photography exhibitions on Sunday, Oct. 26, from 2 – 4 p.m. Early and recent work by acclaimed photographer Burk Uzzle will be in the Virginia Thompson Graves Gallery and a selection of work from three photographers from Eastern North Carolina featuring images and artifacts dating from the 1920’s to 1970’s will be on view in the Lula E. Hanna Jubran’s Sculpture Exhibition Opens At Barton

WILSON, N.C. – Barton Art Galleries is pleased to announce the opening of Hanna Jubran’s “Alchemy, Metaphor & Form” sculpture exhibition now on view in the Virginia Thompson Graves and Lula E. Rackley Galleries located in Case Art Building on the Barton College campus. An opening reception and gallery talk by the artist is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 7 from 2-4 p.m. This event is open to the public free of charge, and the community is invited to attend. “Generation Digital Y” Opens in the Barton Art Galleries on April 5

WILSON, N.C. – The Barton Art Galleries are proud to present “Generation Digital Y,” an exhibition of designs and photographs by the 2008 graduating Barton art students. “Generation Digital Y” will open on April 5, with a reception from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. This event is open to the public at no charge, and the community is invited to attend. The exhibition will run until Friday, May 9. Work by Marcos E. Alices-Kinch of Fayetteville will be on view in the Virginia Thompson Graves Gallery. Included in his presentation are designs, point-of-purchase billboard, posters, publication, t-shirt designs and paintings focusing on a marketing campaign named “Turn off the Radio.” […]
