Steven Capehart received his Ph.D. in Exercise Science with a specialization in Biomechanics at the University of Kentucky. He received a Bachelor of Science in Allied Health Sciences from the University of Cincinnati and a Master of Science degree in Movement Sciences with specializations in Injury and Sport Biomechanics and Exercise Physiology from Barry University. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). He is also a certified CPR/AED/First Aid Instructor through the American Red Cross. His research interests are focused on lower extremity joint mechanics during various activities including running, jump-landing maneuvers, and step-down tasks.
