Nicole Ray is a 2016 MSN Barton graduate. Her clinical practice is currently adult medical-surgical nursing. She also has experience in pediatrics and neurology and has a passion for those suffering with mental health issues. She is a North Carolina Board of Nursing Medication Aide instructor. She is currently in the Doctor of Nursing Practice program at Gardner-Webb University.
Since joining Barton, she has developed interests in minority student retention and success. She also enjoys spending time with students in the lab. Her research interests include minority women’s health disparities, nursing education, and cognitive development of children with craniosynostosis.
