Dr. Lori Anderson began her journey at Barton College as an adjunct faculty member in the School of Nursing. Since January of 2017, she serves as a full-time faculty member.

Prior to her time at Barton College, Dr. Anderson worked in the practice areas of medical-surgical nursing, critical care nursing, and emergency nursing at University Hospitals of Cleveland, and as a faculty member at Ursuline College. Upon moving to North Carolina, Dr. Anderson joined the faculty at Johnston Community College. Most recently, Dr. Anderson was an adjunct instructor for Kaplan University in the RN-BSN online nursing program.

Dr. Anderson earned her Doctor of Philosophy from East Carolina School of Nursing, and her doctoral research focused on the impact of simulation on the transfer of learning to the practice area. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Bowling Green State University, and her Master of Science in Nursing from Kent State University.
