Barton College seeks an energetic, innovative and highly-motivated leader to join us as the Director of Bands in building a dynamic and distinctive Bulldog Marching Band tradition for our growing community in Wilson, North Carolina.
Barton is an institution on the move, with visionary leadership, a dedicated faculty, new academic programs, growing enrollment, a beautiful new football stadium, and an exciting strategic plan characterized by innovation and strategic partnerships. In keeping with our mission for making a college education widely available to the students of Eastern North Carolina and the Southeast, we seek an individual who is experienced, goal-oriented, and ready for a challenge eagerly embraced by our entire community.
The ideal candidate will have outstanding musical training, a history of success in building strong programs, a desire to capitalize on the College’s momentum, strong recruitment skills, and, most importantly, the drive to build a program that will endure and bring distinction to the Bulldog family.
