CVRM Cohort Application

The Center for Vocation and Rural Ministry invites you to become one of 12 cohort members for 2024 who journey together, sharing experiences as pastors of small, rural churches in Eastern N.C.

The Center offers two Light of Life lectures, one in the spring and one in the fall. Pastors will have time for community-building, small group conversations with the keynote speaker, and to share a meal with one another.

The Center for Vocation and Rural Ministry offers spiritual and prayer support. Retreat opportunities will be offered in 2024, with the first in early summer. Renewal, rest, and engagement with speakers addressing issues relating to pastoring a small, rural church and self-growth will be offered.

Thank you for your prayerful consideration to faithfully journey with us as a member of the Center’s 2024 cohort.

For more information about the Center for Vocation and Rural Ministry, please contact the Reverend Malinda Dunlap Fillingim at mdfillingim@barton.edu or 252.399.6357.
