WILSON, N.C. — On Saturday, April 21, Atlantic Christian College and Barton College music alumni and friends, representing over four decades, will perform in the “Voices Reunite” concert to be held in Howard Chapel at 7 p.m. There is no charge for the program, and the community is invited to attend. Scott Cruikshank to be Featured Speaker at Barton College’s 110th Opening Convocation

WILSON, N.C. — Barton College is pleased to announce Scott C. Cruikshank, class of 1995, as the featured speaker for the 110th Opening Convocation.  The annual campus event is scheduled for Tuesday, August 30, at 11 a.m. in Howard Chapel. Cruikshank serves as vice president of Alliances for the Americas for Dimension Data, a specialist IT services and solution provider that helps clients plan, build, support, and manage their IT infrastructures. Based out of the company’s Raleigh-Durham office, he oversaw the creation of the new Alliance organization and is now responsible for leveraging and expanding partnerships of major manufacturers. WILSON, N.C. — The sun shone brightly on the Barton College community as they celebrated Commencement on Sunday, May 22. (Commencement Photo Album) Some 235 seniors participated in the 109th annual commencement exercises. Dr. Norval C. Kneten presided over his eighth commencement program as president of Barton College. Dr. Terrence L. Grimes, vice president for academic affairs, presented the graduating class. Daniel J. Gerlach, president of the Golden LEAF Foundation, delivered the commencement address. Titled “Poet Naturalist/Naturalist Poet,” the workshop features poet and naturalist Bill Griffin. Five new members will be inducted into the Barton College Athletic Hall of Fame during ceremonies on the campus Friday night, Oct. 22. The 29th induction ceremony will begin with a 7:15 reception in the Robert L.
