O’Mara’s spectacular glass works exhibition will open the 2016-2017 art season on the Barton College campus. Susan Lichtman’s “Domestic Arrangements” in the Virginia Thompson Graves Gallery and Sara Pedigo’s “A Nest of Rooms” in the Lula E. WILSON, N.C. — A fresh take on one of the world’s earliest forms of photography can be seen on Friday, Nov. 6, at the Barton Art Galleries. Wilmington-based commercial and fine arts photographer Harry Taylor will visit the galleries for a lecture and demonstration on the tintype technique, from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. This event is open to the public at no charge, and the community is invited to attend.
