Phi Beta Lambda (ΦΒΛ)
Phi Beta Lambda is a national association that brings business and education together through programs and services in which students, educators, and business people learn about one another. The Barton chapter has won numerous awards at both the state and national levels, and is generally recognized as an outstanding student organization at Barton.
FBLA Leadership Scholarship
The Barton College Future Business Leaders of America Leadership Scholarship is a $2,500 annually renewable tuition scholarship granted to a maximum of five entering students who demonstrate leadership qualities through active participation in local and state chapter initiatives in the FBLA in high school.
FBLA Membership Scholarship
The Barton College Future Business Leaders of America Membership Scholarship is a $1,000 annually renewable tuition scholarship granted to a maximum of five entering or transfer students who demonstrate active participation in the FBLA in high school.
Eligibility and Selection
Competition for both of the above scholarships is by invitation. Upon enrollment at Barton College, the student must remain active in the local Phi Beta Lambda chapter, participating in activities at both the local and state levels. Selection is made by Barton College PBL chapter advisors, PBL Professional Division members, and PBL student officers.
