Barton’s Swiderski Receives James H. Bearden Sigma Beta Delta Scholarship Award

WILSON, N.C. — October 6, 2020 — Congratulations to Barton College’s Bartlomiej Swiderski, a junior business administration major from Warszawa, Poland, who has been named the James H. Bearden Sigma Beta Delta Scholarship Award recipient for 2020. The $1,500.00 scholarship award is provided to encourage and support future academic studies. Disciples Scholarships

Disciples Scholarships Barton students who are members of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) may be eligible for significant scholarships. Be sure to indicate on your admissions application your affiliation with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). If you have already applied and did not include this information, please contact the Office of Admissions at 800-345-4973 or email The Higher Education and Leadership Ministries of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) offers scholarships to members of the Christian Church attending Barton. Applications, which are due in March each year, are available through the Office of Financial Aid and the Chaplain’s Office.

Transfer Scholarships

Transfer Scholarships Transfer student scholarships are based on the transferable GPA earned at the previous institution. We will determine the transferable GPA after application to the college and official transcripts are received. Admitted transfer students with fewer than 12 semester hours of transfer credit will, at the discretion of the Office of Admissions, be subject to the same scholarship criteria as that of entering freshmen.
