Barton Students Held High Profile at Phi Beta Lambda State Conference

WILSON, N.C. — May 25, 2021 —Barton College was well represented at the North Carolina Phi Beta Lambda (NC PBL) State Leadership Conference held earlier this spring. Ten Barton chapter members placed in 19 of the competitive events during the conference, and eight Barton students will represent the College at the national level this summer.   First Place honors were awarded to Barton’s Owen Dick of Toronto, Canada, in Sports Management and Marketing, Denning Hudson of Wilson in Contemporary Sports Issues as well as Statistical Analysis, Holly Johnson of Wilson in Organizational Behavior and Leadership, and Alex Kelly of Newport News, Va., in Management Concepts.  Second Place honors went to […]
