WILSON, N.C. —March 30, 2021 — Barton College will welcome poet Emilia Phillips for the upcoming Victor R. Small Writers Series Lecture on Tuesday, April 13. The lecture will be held at 7 p.m. in Howard Chapel on campus. This event is free and open to the public. Seating will be limited to 50 attendees. WILSON, N.C. — March 30, 2021 —  Theatre at Barton’s “Coop’s Homecoming,” by Barton alumnus Zachery Rayburn, has been rescheduled for Wednesday – Friday, April 8-10. The theatre performances will be held at 7:30 p.m. each evening in the Kennedy Family Theatre. Seating will be limited to 16 seats in the audience for each performance. All those attending must wear face masks and observe social distancing protocols. Tickets are $10 each for adults, and $5 each for student, seniors, and military. Barton College invites applications for an adjunct professor to teach Business Law in the School of Business.  The appointment will begin in the fall 2021 semester. Currently the course is 100% online. We can discuss in-seat sections as well. Only candidates with a J.D. degree will be considered. Candidates do not have to be a practicing attorney. Weather Advisory 3 for Thursday, March 18, 2021   Members of the Barton College Community, The College’s Emergency Response Team continues to monitor the impending weather conditions for this afternoon, Thursday, March 18, 2021. It appears that the storm may be moving faster into our area this afternoon than predicted yesterday, but its severity may be slightly less.  The forecast continues to predict over an inch of rain, severe thunderstorms, damaging winds, and the potential for hail/isolated tornadoes.
