WILSON, N.C.  — September 30, 2020 — A mixture of painting, graphic design, audio recording technology, and documentary will be part of the 2020 Barton Art Graduates Exhibition scheduled to open on Friday, Oct. 16, in the Virginia Graves Gallery located in the Barton Art Galleries in Case Art Building on the Barton College campus. The exhibition will be on view through Friday, Nov. 20. The exhibition is open to the public by appointment only, and social distancing and masks will be required during visits to the gallery. An opening reception with the artist will be held on Thursday, Oct. 22, from 5 -7 p.m. The artist talk will begin at 6 p.m. Advance reservations are required. Barton College currently has an opening for a full-time Assistant Director of Financial Aid, responsible for the support of student aid processing and the office’s day-to-day operation. This position oversees the loan programs, packaging, reconciliation, withdrawals, and disbursements. Meeting with families and students is a vital part of this role. Job Responsibilities Serves as primary contact for returning students and families as they understand the financial aid process.
