Dear Members of the Barton Community, Barton College is taking steps to ensure the health and wellbeing of our community in response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19). As the Nation responds to this crisis, we are all being called upon to make choices to mitigate the possible impact of the illness. The following guidance and decisions are made in consultation with the Wilson County Health Department, community officials, and College leadership to ensure the safety of our campus community and beyond. Members of the Barton College Community, The health and safety of our students and employees is a top priority for Barton College. We are working closely with the Wilson County Health Department in actively monitoring the situation in North Carolina and beyond, while preparing to respond according to guidelines and directives by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). At this time, the College is continuing normal operations and following the directives of the Wilson County Health Department and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). The health and safety of our students and employees is a top priority for Barton College. Barton remains vigilant as it continues to monitor world updates regarding the coronavirus. WILSON, N.C. — March 16, 2020 — The spring semester is a great time for art lovers, especially those with an interest in observational painting. Barton Art Galleries is pleased to announce the opening of artist Sara Pedigo’s new exhibition, “Postscripts,” in the Barton Art Galleries on Monday, March 16. Eyes on Main Street Features Works by Barton’s Susan Fecho

Eyes on Main Street gallery presents the exhibition “Vulnerable,” featuring mixed-media collages and book arts works by artist and Barton art professor, Susan Fecho. The work will be on display beginning Friday, March 7, and will run through Sunday, April 19. An opening reception and gallery talk, featuring the artist, will be held Friday, March 13. The reception will begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by the gallery talk at 6 p.m. This event is open to the public at no charge, and the community is invited to attend.
