Abraham Lincoln and Religion will be the focus of the BB&T Lecture in American History on October 17

WILSON, N.C. — October 6, 2019 — Barton College is pleased to welcome Dr. George C. Rable, Professor Emeritus and the former Charles G. Summersell Chair in Southern History at the University of Alabama, as the featured speaker for the upcoming BB&T Heritage Lecture in American History scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 17. Dr. Rable’s lecture will focus on Abraham Lincoln and religion. Scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. in Hardy Alumni Hall on the Barton campus, this program is open to the public free of charge.
