Weather Advisory 3 – Following Tropical Storm Michael   Posted on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at  7:20 p.m.   Members of the Barton College Community,   Barton College will resume its normal operating schedule on Friday, October 12, 2018.  Classes will begin at 8 a.m. and campus offices will open at 8:15 a.m.   Road conditions may vary from town to town.  Please continue to use good judgment and caution as you travel to campus tomorrow.   Thank you, Kathy Daughety Office of Public Relations

Barton College to Host “Take Back The Night” on October 16

WILSON, N.C. — October 11, 2018 — Members of the Wilson community are invited to join Barton College’s faculty, staff, and students for “Take Back The Night: One Night, Never Silent, Ending Violence Together,” scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 16. This event is sponsored and hosted by Barton College Student Health Services, in collaboration with the Wesley Shelter of Wilson, “Take Back The Night” is an annual program on campus that raises awareness about domestic violence. Weather Advisory 2 –Tropical Storm Michael Posted at 8:36 a.m., Thursday, October 11, 2018 Members of the Barton College Community, In consultation with the Wilson Police Department this morning, Barton College has made the decision to cancel all classes, events, and activities for Thursday, October 11, 2018, beginning at 12:30 p.m.  All campus offices will also be closing at 12:30 p.m. today. Essential personnel will continue to be on campus.   Meal Service will continue its regular schedule throughout the day and evening.
