WILSON, N.C. — April 30, 2018 — Barton College was well represented at the 64th annual North Carolina Phi Beta Lambda (NC PBL) State Leadership Conference held April 5-8 in Charlotte. Sixteen Barton chapter members participated in a variety of competitive events and attended general sessions, regional meetings, and leadership seminars. Approximately 300 delegates, representing 25 chapters, attended the annual conference. Academic Excellence at Barton Reflected in Nursing Pass Rates

WILSON, N.C. — April 24, 2018 — Academic excellence in the Barton classroom is reflected in this semester’s published pass rates for the School of Nursing. The Barton College School of Nursing’s 2017 graduating class passed the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) with ninety-five (95) percent of its graduates successfully completing the NCLEX on their first administration of the exam, and remaining graduates passing the exam by February. Barton nursing graduates, with Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degrees and NCLEX-RN licensure in-hand are highly sought after in regionally and nationally recognized medical facilities and graduate schools. Barton College/Wilson Symphony To Feature Eric Mazonson on April 29

WILSON, N.C. — March 28, 2018 — Acclaimed pianist Eric Mazonson will join the Barton College/Wilson Symphony Orchestra for its Spring Concert on Sunday, April 29. The concert will be held at 3 p.m. in the Kennedy Family Theatre on the Barton campus. Mark N.
